📚 WWW Wednesdays #11
What Are You Reading Wednesdays is a weekly book-blogging meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
The concept is simple, answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
You can join in to! Just leave a comment with your link at Taking On's blog and then go on an adventure to find what other people are reading.

All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
Something about Maggive Stiefvater's writing just gets me every time. She has this way of drawing you in without relying on a mess of events or action or giant battles. It is the characters, it's the language she uses that, to some, makes the story move slowly, but to me, comfortably pulls you in to the lives of these characters you end up caring so much about.

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo was so. Damn. Good. I loved everything about this collection. The writing style, the stories, the shout-outs to traditional faerie tales, the atmosphere. Check out my full review here.
Also, the Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. Which I have mixed feelings about, with a review pending. I did not dislike it, but I wanted/expected more. If that makes sense

I know, I know, I all but rearranged my WWW Wednesday #10 post, but it's not my fault I ended up actually reading what book I said I would read next. Also, in my defense, NaNoWriMo kind of snuck up on me, so I have been distracted by that too (check out my blog post about experiencing Week 1 as a full fledged Pantser!)
But, to switch things up a bit, next on the TBR is my November Book (of the Month) Club pick, and the book featured in November's Ink Crate (get one here) Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova
And that's it for my three WWW's this week! If you've read any of the books, have heard about them, or just want to discuss bookish goodness, feel free to comment below!
